A Fashionable Affair
Guests adorned the exquisite Parisian Elegance attire, a befitting tribute to the evening's theme. With a collective anticipation that mirrored the glamour of vintage Chanel haute couture, attendees gathered for an evening steeped in artistry and culinary finesse.
An Evening Unveiling Timeless Treasures
The evening commenced with an alfresco garden reception bathed in the melodic strings of Yena Choi's violin, setting the tone for a night. As the sun gently descended, guests were ushered into a Ritz-inspired dining experience, curated to tantalize the palate and intrigue the senses.
A Fusion of Art and Dance
The pièce de résistance arrived in the form of an exquisite performance by the Queensland Ballet. A pas de deux graced the stage, weaving a narrative of movement and beauty that captivated all in attendance. Between courses, Owner and Curator of the collection, Karen Nash, relived the historical journey and sweet stories of friendship between Coco Chanel and painter Marion Pike.
A Walk-Through Time
The highlight of the evening unfolded as influential models paraded down a 1968 inspired runway. Each step echoed the legacy of Coco Chanel, showcasing garments and jewellery drawn from her personal wardrobe. The runway became a canvas of timeless elegance, where historical haute couture and today’s fashion trends seamlessly intertwined.

As the formal part of the evening concluded, the foyer transformed into a haven for art enthusiasts. The bar remained open, inviting guests for a final rendezvous with the world-class paintings.
